MAIN STORYLINE: World of Terror

Xolag felt something crackle against his shield.

He turned round and saw an arrow disintegrate. His guards instinctively fired there new found fire at the archer, but Xolag slammed them all into the ground with a wave of his hand. He flew down to the ground and extinguished himself.

Who dare fires an arrow at almighty Xolag? He started at the woman.

"What is your name?" he asked.

--Solar Islandas, near flamepyre--

Alron Turn and saw his hometown ablaze. His dragon was inquisitive, so he put it upon his shoulder for now. he ran for his home. all the while trying to contact the wizzards tower. there was ne repliy. he turns a corner and saw the tower of stone ablaze with enchanted fire. all the solar wizzards were dead. every one. loss and sorrow flowed from alron. and his dragon questioned him. he said to it. "my whole Family, gone! GONE! I SHAL DESTROY THE ONE WHO DID THIS!" he ran towards the Caves of the sun...

"Why do you care?" She hissed, before adding, "Lady Duskstrider, is that good enough for you?" She got a small, sharp, elvish dagger out and began to go into a defensive position, moving near one of the trees. She put a small black orb into her other hand, Xolag couldn't see it but could sense the Artifacts dark magic.

"Well well, did you lose your muzzle back there in the fire? I can go and get it for you if you like."

He took a step close to the woman.

"And what might that be? Trying to use my own dark magic against me? Are you always this stupid?"

He took another step...

"Not really" She said, three more of the Diamond shaped things rose out of some bushes, and the other one began to float too, they all turned Blue and fired a frostball at Xolag, before breaking into sharps. "It was meant to be used against a lich, but it matters little" She muttered, moving back abit intill she she hit the tree, so she couldn't move back any further.

Xolag felt a slight sting in his chest where the shards would have hit.

"A lich?" Xolag questioned, not expecting an answer. He heard a few of his guards groaning now in the distance.

He noticed her bump into a tree.

"Theres a tree there, y'know"

He took yet another step forwards,

Out of the blue, he shot a red hot fireball from his hand at the girl..

The fireball hit her in the cheast and she fell down, quickly got back up, put the fire out that was burning her hood and silver hair then jumped at him with a dagger, she caused a tiny slash on Xolags arm, but nothing major, she then started to circle him, looking for a weak spot. She attempted to jump at Xolag to cause another small wound on his other arm.

Xolag too circled the girl,

"Perhaps we should make this more intimate... why don't I go and get some candles and wine?" Xolag said, taunting her

"My, You certainly do need your claws trimming" he said, as she lunged at him for a second time

He then conjured a blade made of pure dark energy from the shadows, and took a strike at her, missing my inches...

She suddenly changed her tactics from causing many small wounds to an all out brutal attack, she went back some distance then charged at him, suprising Xalog from the change a tactics, she jumped at him and misssed by megear inches, she had however, left herself quite vulnerable while she missed.

Xolag struck the girl with the hilt of his dagger. He was not, however, going to kill her. He heard a few of his guards trampling through the undergrowth, but sent them smashing into trees with another flick of his hands. Before he could say anything else to the girl, he heard more movement in the forest. It was bigger than the guards, whatever it is. First, he saw the legs. The long, creeping legs stalked the forest. As the beast revealed itself, Xolag saw what is was; a giant spider. It was absolutely huge, fangs the size of swords, and large swords at that. He grabbed the girl by the hair, and flung her across the floor as the spider made an attempt to bite them...

She skidded across the floor, then got up when she stopped, groaning, she saw the spider and her face was horrified, she started to cast a frost spell which Xalog could sense was quite powerful, she finished casting it and threw it at the spider when it was about to attempt to bite Xalog a second time, the Frost spell caused it to fly into a tree, but the spider got back up and wondered who it should go for...

Xolag saw the icy aura fly past him into the spider. He was impressed. He started to gather his own spell, a much darker one. A ball of complete darkness formed in his hand, and he flung it at the spider who got hit in the face. It let out a loud shriek, and before Xolag knew it, hundreds of smaller spiders were scurrying under the huge ones. When I say small, however, they were still the size of Dogs. One of them jumped at Xolag, who sliced it in half with his dagger from earlier..

By the time some spiders had reached Nara, her own spell was ready, her hands flew into the ground and crystals of ice erupted in the areas the spiders had been occupying, the spiders were blasted into the air and where easily killed by Naras dagger when they landed.

Xolag continued to slaughter some spiders while the girl charged her spells.

"I always get fun first dates!" he yelled to her, above the racket of screaming spiders.

The massive spider had recovered by now, and was preparing another attack. Xolag effortless lifted a fallen tree into the air using magic, and swung it like a javelin towards the spider. It hit it and pinned it against another tree, covering the ground below in a sticky substance which appeared to be the beats blood...

"First dates?" She asked confused, fireing another ice spell. Then looked at the dead spider,
"That must of hurt, alot" she said, looking away from the dead spider and concretating on the smaller spiders, which eventually managed to pin her to the ground, though they had some trouble keeping her there.

Alron ran into the battle field. this made no sence, there hadden't been this much devistation since the great war... His dragon Noticed something. he spun round and saw 2 people. he senced one had the Heart of the sun, allthough it made no sence, where had the gardian been. then he saw the corpses. the gaurdian was among them. he looked back at the battle, and, after a moments hesitaion, lept into action. He Cast blinding light, and moved into position. the last ray was shining, and it suddenly occured to him the people around hims general intentions. he remembered the guardians words:

"... It will show you people for who they are..."

He moved into combat position against the one whos intentions were of evil just as the light faded. His dragon Hissed at the Person ( a Hiss is all it can manage at its young age) and snapped at the air. alron had similar intentions as he roared at the evil thing "WHO ARE YOU! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!" and took battle stance.

The Spiders started to retreat back into the forest after that colossal one had died. A few were still attacking the woman, and he slashed them in half with his dagger.

"Well, it's been a terror meeting you, Miss..Duskstrider" he said

"I really don't hope to meet you another time." he said, mockingly,

He also heard someone shouting at him from outside the forest. He ignored him.
And with that he started to fire up again, and vanished into the night sky.

Nara got up, then mumbled something unitelligable, though the mage heard "I hate spiders..."
"A dragon?" She asked, watching the dragon, a charged spell was ready in her hand,
"What do you want Dragon, and mage...?" She removed the charged frostball.

Xolag was flying so high above the ground now that he was barely visible from ground heigh, even though he was on fire. He had a sudden though,

"What about my guards? No, they were stupid, arrogant, stupid and weak."

He continued flying across the sea, back to the same spot in Daralai they had camped at earlier. For once in a very long time now, Xolag needed to rest. He transformed himself into a dead, wicked looking tree for a disguise. Then, he rested...

"that... Thing Burned Flampyre to the ground. it was My Hometown, and now, ash... Im Alron by the way. The Dragon Hasn't been named yet, although Emraldi Sounds good, dosent it?" The dragon nodded aprovingly. "There we go then. Who are you, anyway." Replied Alron.

"I'm... Lady Duskstrider..." She said slowly, she was obviously suspicious of the dragon, "What was that 'thing' anyway?" She formed a tiny frostball and threw it at a small spider that was scurrying away from them, three plants near the blast were also frozen.

"You know, The big evil guy your fighting. he burned down Flamepyre, as you can see." We must destroy him. he has taken the suns heart. If he uses that the wrong way he could A: Desrtoy earth by altering how much the sun shines and B: Destroy the sun, whiping out us as well. no one has used the suns power properly before. last time somone did that it created the Damn frosen Lands!" the Dragon snapped up a spider and returned to Alron. "Also, don't be afraid of Emeraldi. were bonded me and him. he is telling me that he's suspicious of you though. and I can't say I disagree. why were you here if not with that thing?"

"Well, I fired a arrow, he attacked me, i went mad, charged him because he taunted me, then a giant spider attacked and you came along..." Nara hissed before rushing off before either the dragon or the Mage could reply in any form.

Xolag waiting upon that windswept hilltop all night. When morning broke, he gave his branches a little shudder and transformed back into his usual self. He stretched his arms, and set off back to Gharis..

well that was interesting... Said emeraldi. She Didn't even leave a name.
Well now what. we've got to stop him before he uses the Suns heart, but, alas, we cannot folow him. we must go after that woman. she's our only link.. Alron replyed.
Let us go then... Emraldi Said.

They moved to persue the Woman...

OOC: Note that when I Use italics in speach, the words are said in the persons minds. the fact Alron And Emeraldi can Speack to one another is due to there bond, although any Char can talk with there minds.
